Logistics Manager – Port Moresby

Trukai Industries Limited has a vacancy for a Logistics Manager in our Supply Chain Department based in Port Moresby, National Capital District. This position will report directly to the Outbound Logistics Manager.

The Logistics Manager is responsible for customer service Delivery in Full on Time (DIFOT) and continuously follows up with Planning, Customer Service, and Distribution to get updates on stock and processing of orders and shipments. This role is also responsible for doing clearance at the wharf on incoming vessels, confirming arrival and delivery of customer boxes to their respective locations including returning stock to Lae for reprocessing when required.

Key Requirements

Degree in Accounting, Business Management, or Supply Chain Management
5 years experience in a similar role
Experience in monitoring of shipping containers
Strong experience in logistics – shipping & trucking
Understanding of Logistics Operation
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Must be attention to detail and highly organized
Strong time management skills
Ability to work independently to meet deadlines
Computer Literate
