Safety, Health & Environment Coordinator

Trukai Industries has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Safety Health & Environment Coordinator. The role is based in Lae, Morobe Province.

You will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the Business Unit Leaders, Line Managers, and employees to maintain effective management of Safety, Health, Environment, and Training requirements in compliance with Company procedures, regulations, and applicable International Standards.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health
• Level 4 – Certificate in Workplace Health and Safety preferably with some formal Audit training
• 5 years experience in a similar role in an FMCG Company
• Knowledge and understanding of potential hazards and job demands in a manufacturing environment 
• Experienced with risk assessments
• Understanding of the application and obligations of WH&S legislation in the workplace
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Computer literate in Outlook, Microsoft Excel and MS Word
