Safety, Health & Environment Coordinator

Trukai Industries has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Safety Health & Environment Coordinator. The role is based in Lae, Morobe Province.

You will be responsible to coordinate and support the Business Unit Leaders, Line Managers and employees to maintain an effective management of Safety, Health and Environment requirements in compliance with Company procedures, regulations and applicable International Standards.

Key Requirements

•  Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety
•  Level 1 - 4 Certificate in Workplace Health and Safety preferably with some formal Audit
• training
•  5 years’ experience in a similar role in an FMCG Company
•  Knowledge and understanding of potential hazards and job demands in a manufacturing
• environment 
•  Experienced with risk assessments
•  Understanding of application and obligations of WH&S legislation in the workplace
•  Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
•  Strong leadership skills
•  Strong interpersonal and communication skills
•  Computer literate in Outlook, Microsoft Excel and MS Word
