Site 1 Safety Manager

Trukai Industries Limited has a vacancy for a Site 1 Safety Manager to join its Safety, Health &
Environment Team. This role is based in Lae and will report to the National Safety, Health &
Environment Manager.

Working with the Site Owners and the Leadership Team, the successful applicant will be
responsible for providing coaching and guidance to a number of Departments on Site 1
promoting a safety culture through developing and implementing Safety, Health & Environment
initiatives.

Key Requirements
 

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health & Safety
• Demonstrated experience in Safety, Health & Environment 
• Cert IV in Training and Assessment 
• Ability to facilitate Incident Investigations 
• Ability to facilitate Risk Assessments and Standard Operating Procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong Leadership Skills
• Knowledge and understanding of site-based risks and control
• Experience with Safety Audits
• Advanced analysis and reporting capability
