Trukai Industries has the following vacancies and the roles are based in Lae, Morobe Province. These roles provide leadership, technical expertise and direction to a team to ensure the Maintenance Department and overall Production objectives are achieved.

Engineering Manager

As an Engineering Manager, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional foresight, working knowledge of different engineering disciplines with an aptitude for managing risk in a Manufacturing Industry.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field 
• More than 8 years’ experience in a similar role
• Proven Leadership and Coaching ability
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Project management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Electrical Engineer

This role will report to the Engineering Manager and will be responsible for leading a team of Electricians. The successful candidate will be leading safety and reliable investigations to identify the root cause and implement workable solutions to meet maintenance standards.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• More than 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of the interface between electrical and mechanical equipment
• Demonstrated experience in root cause identification of complex electrical problems
