Container Control & Detention Manager

Trukai Industries Limited is seeking a highly organized & results-driven Container Control & Detention Manager to oversee all container compliance operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in the FMCG industry or a similar environment and possess strong expertise in container management, logistics, international shipping, and inventory control. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills are essential for success in this role.

This position will be based in Lae, Morobe Province and will report to the National Logistics Manager.

Key Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration o related field.
Previous experience in container compliance, detention management and inventory control.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Container tracking systems.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
Demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance and continuous improvement.
Proven ability to lead, motivate and manage a team.
