Site Logistics Controller- Lae

Trukai Industries Limited has a vacancy for a Site Logistics Controller with our Supply Chain Department based in Lae, Morobe Province. This position will report directly to the Inbound Logistics and National Distribution Centre Manager. 

The Site Logistics Controller will be responsible for the day-to-day dispatching and or receiving of full/empty containers, monitor truck utilization, maintain effective communication on truck movements, manage site traffic management in relation to Trukai Industries Standard Operating Procedures, customer service, and ensuring smooth operations on site.

Key Requirements

•  Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
•  More than 3 years’ experience in a similar role with an FMCG company
•  Strong ability to keep track and maintain container records
•  Problem-Solving Skills
•  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
•  Detail oriented and analytical skills
•  Able to multitask and work with minimal supervision. 
•  Excellent written and oral communication skills 
• Computer Literate especially with Microsoft Excel
• Ability to enforce transport and materials site safety procedure
